POST 8 ENGLISH 4
University English
My experience with English has not been very good, when I was in high school, I had a hard time understanding the teacher when he spoke, but when I entered the university I thought it was going to be the same, but it was not like that, now I understand more than what I learned in my years in high school, I feel that it helps more than just seeing a blackboard and writing literally everything, that they make us watch videos, interacting with each other helps us to pronounce the words in a better way and with respect to blogs, I feel that it helps a lot to write and to think very well what to say.
I am very interested in languages, I like to listen to music in different languages, but with respect to English, I need to practice it more, try to speak more, read, practice it more, I still don't feel that change in me that when I hear a word in English, I immediately relate it to what it is and not just a simple word in Spanish. Currently I try to watch movies subtitled in English or movies in English subtitled in Spanish, listen to music and look for its lyrics in English, so I can pronounce the words correctly when I try to sing it, but I would like to have someone or a way to speak or say something in English and check that I said it the right way to improve, because there are words that I think they are well pronounced, but it is not so.
Well, in conclusion, I think that they should give more time to English classes at the university for people like me who find it hard and still do not have that level of English necessary to be able to practice correctly the career that is exercising.
